Morningstar’s case study on Solar-Powered Seismic Signal Monitoring Stations has been published in AltEnergy Magazine. The case study found that the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network should be equipped with a backup battery system to ensure it is able to continually monitor ground motion and provide warnings to first responders about incoming earthquakes.
